ACES project has successfully reached Milestone 3 – Adaptive control of hardware at demo sites. The system can now adapt to actual changes in prognosis, actual consumption, as well as changes to hardware setup, and external power grid commands – all with good outputs in sought criteria. The demonstrators are equipped with Metrum PQX3-FR power quality meters, which are continually collecting and analysing data; information that is used to evaluate and improve the accuracy of AI-enabled meter forecasting, an integral part of the ACES solution. On top of that ACES use pattern recognition algorithms for internal prognosis as well as adaptive power control.
The ACES project have now continued into system test phase, which is run in parallel with sub-system reports, and final reports for Milestone 4, planned for release by the end of 2020.
